SkinsPoint is free to read, and it stays that way because of affiliate links. Here is exactly how that works, because you deserve to know who pays for what you are reading.
How we make money
When you click an outgoing link to a gambling site on SkinsPoint (the buttons marked on review pages, toplists and promo code pages) and then register or deposit, the operator may pay us a commission. This can be a one-time payment per new player or a revenue share on the activity of players we referred. It costs you nothing — the bonus you get through our links is the same or better than going direct.
What affiliate relationships do NOT change
- Rankings. Our toplist order comes from the scoring in our ranking methodology: trust and fairness, game quality, bonus value, payout speed. Operators cannot buy a higher position. Several sites we rank highly pay us nothing at all.
- Ratings. A casino with a great affiliate deal and a bad product gets a bad score. We have published negative reviews of sites that pay us, and positive reviews of sites that do not.
- Content. No operator reviews, approves or edits anything we publish. Sponsored content, if we ever run it, will be labelled as such at the top of the page.
What this means for you
Affiliate commissions are how most review sites survive — the difference is whether a site admits it and what it does about the conflict. Our answer: we name real weaknesses in every review, we keep a public graveyard of dead sites, and we tell you when we hold no exclusive code instead of inventing one.
